Off-Leash Park Rules
All dogs must have a valid day pass or annual membership to enter the off-leash dog park.
No person or dog is permitted to be inside the off-leash park outside of posted operating hours.
A maximum of three (3) dogs are allowed per handler at one time.
All breeds of dogs are allowed in the park, subject to applicable state or local provisions relating to specific breeds or specific dogs found to be aggressive.
All dogs must be current on vaccinations including Rabies, Parvo/Distemper and Bordetella. A current rabies tag must be displayed in the park at all times.
Puppies younger than four (4) months old are not allowed in the park.
Dogs in heat are not allowed in the park.
Owners are legally responsible for the actions of their dogs.
It is the legal obligation of park staff to report all known instances of bites, scratches, and attacks by a dog on a human to Animal Control. This may result in the dog being impounded for a period of time with the owner being solely responsible for associated costs.
No one under the age of eighteen (18) is allowed in the park unless accompanied by an adult. Children are permitted in the park so long as they are closely supervised by an adult and are not disturbing the dogs or other guests. Children are not permitted to play on the dog park equipment.
Each owner is responsible for cleaning up their dog’s waste.
Owners are required to supervise their dogs at all times while in the park.
Any dog displaying aggressive behavior towards humans or other dogs will be asked to leave.
Park staff, when present, may separate dogs, redirect them to more suitable play or remove them from the park. Staff may also request owners to leash their dogs or move to a different part of the park. Ignoring park staff requests may results in removal from the park.
Bark Yard is not responsible for any injury, illness, or damage caused on our premises, and all human guests must be responsible for their dogs.
Dogs may only wear flat collars or harnesses in the off-leash park. No spiked, pinch, or choke collars are allowed.
Dogs must remain on a leash and under their owner’s control until safely inside the park with the entry gate shut and latched.
No food or treats are permitted in the off-leash park.
Dog toys are permitted in the park with the permission of other guests. If the toys cause disruptive behavior among other dogs, park staff may request that the toys no longer be used.
Failure to abide by any of these rules and regulations may result in ejection from the premises and/or suspension or termination of membership, at the sole discretion of Bark Yard management and staff, as may be appropriate for the safety of Bark Yard human and dog patrons and management/staff.
